Salmon Fishing Charters [May thru September]

Lake Ontario salmon fishing charters are available for 1 to 4 anglers from May through end of July. Weather permitting, each charter may consist of 4, 6, 8 or 10 hours on the water.

The Water Wolf then moves to Wrights Landing marina in Oswego, NY from August through Sept. 15

By mid August, Water Wolf moves to Mike’s Marina located in Mexico, New York to capitalize on the early season salmon staging.

Captain Bob Walters

Capt. Bob has been fishing for muskies, salmon and trout on the Great Lakes for over 30 years.

During the summer months he can be found trolling the waters of Lake Ontario for trophy salmon and trout near the Wilson, Oswego and Salmon River areas. In late September, Water Wolf is moved to Clayton, New York where the hunt for the “Monsters” of the St. Lawrence begins.

He’s passionate about fishing, practices catch and release, and is an innovator within the fishing industry.

As every world class charter operation is derived from teamwork, Water Wolf Charters is no exception. Capt. Darryl, USCG Lic. # 136283, is an integral part of Team Water Wolf. As the First Mate and backfill for Capt. Bob periodically, Capt. Darryl has over 30 years experience on the Great Lakes. Moreover, he comes from a long history of charter captains, as his father was a pioneer in the charter fishing industry during the 70’s and he’s mated for some of best charter captains in fleet on Lake Ontario.

With over 60 years combined experience, Capt. Bob and Capt. Darryl are sure to make your next charter fishing adventure a memorable one!

Salmon Fishing Charters: Bring seasonal weather clothing, hat & rain-wear, soft-soled shoes, fishing licenses, cooler, snacks, beverages in unbreakable containers, sun glasses, sun block and a camera.

Muskie Fishing Charters: For your muskie hunt, remember to bring seasonal weather clothing, hat & rain-wear, soft-soled shoes, fishing licenses, cooler, snacks, beverages in unbreakable containers, sun glasses, sun block and a camera. Please note – Weather conditions can vary as October brings mixed weather, November transitions to rain & snow and December it can be cold with snow. So feel free to bring extra clothes!
